A Life in Silk : Dev Diary #62

Well it's already March 2015, the 1st quarter of year is almost done. So we feel it's important for us to give a production update to the community.

The Good
- Our artists are delivering assets quicker than we can integrate them. So the content bottleneck is becoming less of an issue ^_^

- We are still in budget.

- The Unity code base is solid, integration & implementation of content & systems is very smooth.

- A large percentage of the rewards from the crowd-funding campaign have been shipped.


The Bad
- We had some scheduling limitations this last months because of some urgent personal matters that slightly distracted us.

- We had some issues in the Windows alpha/beta builds, that's why we have only a Mac version on the test server right now.

Resume
Our only bottle-neck at the moment is production scheduling limitations. But because everything as stabilized on our end, we will now be able to integrate all the great content that our artists have produced this last months. So we will have now a richer alpha/beta versions for the community in the coming weeks.

As for the new release date, we wish to concentrate now on delivering a solid beta build (Mac/Windows) to our contributors before announcing an official release date, which we believe is a safer approach because once we succesfully pass the beta stage, we will only need to bug fix & polish.
