A Life in Silk : Dev Diary #67

August 1st 2015 is our dead line for A Life in Silk.

There's many reasons for this specific date, including it's our moving day into an official studio location so we would like to have all our 2014 projects completed before starting up at a new place.

We estimate that there's around 200 hours of production left on ALIS.

This doesn't seem like much but because we average around 20-30 hours of work on ALIS a week, taking in consideration that we have to take on other contracts as day jobs to sustain ourselves.

And so, we have at least 2 months left of production before we can release ALIS, which fits very well within our dead line.

We believe that we will probably release & ship way before August 1st but having a dead line is helping us focus and structure the last steps in the production.

Also, good news, we have fix the issues with the Windows versions of ALIS so we will be uploading a new build on the server in the coming days, please follow us on Twitter to get daily notifications on our status.

  2. Is the game going to be made available on Manga Gamer?

They don't seem to have problem hosting western games such as Huniepop or The Menagerie.

I'm sure that if you put your game there you would get better exposure and reach a wider audience.

I'll buy it regardless but it's just something to think about.

    Thanks.
